After 4 days of the BGIS 2021 quarter-finals in which the 64 qualifying teams competed in 4 groups and the top 6 teams from each group qualified for the semi-finals. The penultimate stage of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021 has been started on January 7, 2022. The four-day semi-final will see the country’s top 24 teams compete for a coveted final spot. The tournament boasts a huge INR 1 crore prize pool, with the winner taking away half or 50 lakh INR.

BGMI Semi Final Schedule 2022 Date, Time, And More

The semi-finals of BGMI series 2021 have been started on 7th January at 5 pm. And it will run from 7th January to 10th January. Qualifying teams will be divided into the 3 groups which will compete in a round-robin format.

Format of the BGMI Semi Final 2022

Each of the 24 teams that qualify for the quarter-finals will be divided into 3 groups of 8 teams each. They will compete in a round-robin format. The top 16 teams with the highest cumulative score will move towards the grand finale.

The Grand Final will take place from January 13-16, with the winner advancing to the 2021 PUBG Mobile World Championship Grand Final.

The semi-finals will be played with a little more space since the best 16 teams will qualify among the 24 participants.

One of the pioneers of the scene, the GodLike Esports, is always fascinating to the watch. The team will face stiff competition from its old organization TSM and up-and-coming challenger Team XO.

Apart from these, the Xspark team cannot be left out as they have a lot of experience in their ranks. Hyderabad Hyderas, Reckoning, and Skylightz Gaming are also keen to continue their race for gold in the semi-finals.

BGIS 2022 Quarter Final Results

Without winning any matches, GodLike Esports dominated the overall points standings. Their aggressiveness is made up of 58 of the 96 points scored.

Tactical Esports won the opener with a total of 10 kills. Since the area was aquatic, there was little that GodLike and Soul were able to do, although they did manage to take 5 kills each.

The 2nd game was won by the X Lions team with a total of 8 kills, but GodLike topped the scoreboard with 13 bursts. For his 8 kills, Godlike’s Neyoo was named MVP of the match.
